Fitting instructions

1. Loosen the bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beam. Loosen the exhaust at the bottom of
the suspension.
2. Remove the 2 square rubber caps at the bottom of the chassis beam (see picture 1), insert the nut pieces
(3) through the liberated holes in the back of the vehicle till above the holes and place the mounting
pieces (1) and (2) against the bottom of the chassis beam with points (C) matching the nut pieces and
points (A) matching against the back plate of the coach work fitting the existing holes in of the buffer
beam.
3. Place the tow bar with (A) and (B) against the back plate of the vehicle corresponding the drillings and
the bolts of the fixation of the buffer beam, insert the bolts, washers and nuts at points (A) and (B) and
tighten everything firmly (see tension).
4. Re-assemble the bumper on the vehicle.
5. Assemble the ball together with the socket plate holder and the security ring, insert the bolts and tighten
everything firmly (see tension).
Disassemble the bumper
- disassemble the rear-light units by means of 2x2 screws and pull the units solidly to the back
- 2x4 screws at splash boards
- 4 screws in the bottom of the bumper
- pull the side to the outside
- push the clips 1 by 1 on a level with the rear-lights and remove the bumper to the back
- pull the bumper solidly backwards (firmly fixed at the entrance of the trunk)
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
