It is necessary to be completely sure before use that the recommendations spe-
cific to each element associated with this product are respected, as defined in
their corresponding instructions, that they comply with the applicable European
standards or otherwise any other appropriate standard and that their safety func-
tions do not interfere with one another.
Check that the product you have just acquired is compatible with the recommen-
dations of the other system components.
1-5 HAZARDS
In conjunction with fall arrest systems, this harness is designed to protect against
fall from height that may cause serious injuries.
While in use, protect your PPE against all risks connected with the work environ-
ment: thermal, electrical or mechanical shocks, acid splashes, sharp edges, etc. ...
1-6 PERFORMANCE
This equipment has undergone a standard EU examination (EN 361)with a
notified body (cf Appendix 4), which issued an EU certificate confirming that all
equipment produced and the corresponding instructions comply with Regulation
(EU) 2016/425.
1-7 LIMITATIONS AND CAPABILITIES
Only a full body harness which is compliant with EN 361 is allowed to be used in
a fall arrest. This harness shall be used as a part of a fall arrest system (eg work
on roofs, terrace, scaffolding, ....), and shall not be used for work positioning or
suspension work.
Never use this harness for load carrying.
If the harness has suffered a fall, it must be withdrawn from the field.
1-8 TRAINING
Activities at height are dangerous and can cause serious accidents and injuries. We remind
you that you are personally liable in the case of an accident, injury or fatality to either your-
self or a third party during or following the use of one of our products. The use of our pro-
ducts is reserved to authorized persons who have gone through the proper training or who
are operating under the supervision and instruction of an authorized superior.
Ensure that you have been adequately trained in the use of this PPE and make sure that
you fully understand how it works. If there is any doubt, do not take any risks but rather seek
advice. Good physical condition is required in order to carry out work at height. Certain
medical contraindications can threaten the user's safety (taking medications, cardiovascu-
lar problems, etc.) during normal use of the PPE and in emergencies. In any case of doubt,
consult your physician.
The product must not be used by persons weighing more than 140 kilograms. Clothing and
equipment included. We remind you that the harness must be associated with a fall arrester
equipment (e.g. energy absorber) suitable for this higher user weight.
2 - PRIOR USE INFORMATION
Whenever possible, it is strongly recommended that this equipment is personally
assigned to a single user.
2-1 TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE
Store away from sources of heat. Store the harness away from humidity and ultra-
violet light,
Avoid any atmosphere that is corrosive or excessively hot or refrigerated.
During transport, check that your PPE is stored well away from any source of heat,
damp, corrosive atmosphere, ultraviolet rays, etc. ...
