Electrical Connection
The equipment has a single electrical port, item 2 in
Figure A3. This is for connecting to DPI 705E,
DPI 705E-IS, DPI 620G or DPI 620G-IS via the supplied
2.9 metre (9.5 feet) cable. For the entity parameters, refer
to Table A2.
Specific Conditions of Use
1. The RTD port is intended to be connected to passive
PT100 type RTD resistance probe "simple apparatus"
only.
2. The RTD-INTERFACE-IS shall only be connected to
suitably certified Druck digital handheld equipment via
cable provided by the equipment manufacturer.
3. CAUTION: The metal body of the RTD-INTERFACE-IS
is connected directly to the circuit earth of the host
device (DPI 705E-IS or DPI 620G-IS). Both host
devices are battery powered only and not intended to
be connected to any external electrical connection.
Declaration Requirements – EU Directive 2014/34/EU
This equipment is designed and manufactured to meet the
essential health and safety requirements not covered by
EU Type Examination Certificate SIRA 19ATEX2200X
when installed as detailed above.

If the unit requires calibration or is unserviceable, return it
to the nearest Druck Service Centre listed

Do not dispose of this product as household waste. Use
an approved organization that collects and/or recycles
waste electrical and electronic equipment. For more

Contact the Service Department to obtain a Return
Goods/Material Authorization (RGA or RMA). Provide the
following information for a RGA or RMA:
• Product (i.e. RTD-INTERFACE/RTD-INTERFACE-IS)
• Serial number.
• Details of defect/work to be undertaken.
• Calibration traceability requirements.
• Operating conditions.
Operation
Connect the RTD-INTERFACE/RTD-INTERFACE-IS to
the accessory/remote port of the DPI 705E, DPI 705E-IS,
DPI 620G or DPI 620G-IS test instrument using the
supplied 2.9 metre (9.5 ft) cable.
The DPI 705E/DPI 705E-IS will automatically switch from
displaying readings from the internal pressure sensor to the
remote RTD interface when a remote sensor is plugged in.
