2)
With „-" or „+" select desired pump speed.
3)
No longer activate "Pump" key „-" and „+" → after approx. 2s the display jumps back into normal

→ In normal representation, the selected mode now appears on the bottom right.
6.6.

AL torque limitation (Automatic Limiter)

The AL function limits the torque on the instrument. For bone drilling, the device works in AL mode so
the electronic motor can gain enough power to drive the instrument into hard bone as well. The
rotational speed on the instrument remains constant until the selected torque has been reached. If the
stress on the instrument is increased beyond the selected limit, the rotational speed decreases down to
a standstill. The power on the instrument is maintained. Should the stress be decreased again, the
rotational speed rises again.
6.7.

AS torque limitation AS (Automatic Stopper)

The AS function limits the torque on the instrument. The AS mode works like a torque key when
tightening implants and cover screws. As soon as the pre-set torque is increased, the electronic motor
stops immediately. The electronic motor no longer generates power. In order to start the electronic
motor again, the step must be released and depressed again.
The AS function is only activated with reductions 16:1, 20:1 and 32:1 and rotational
speeds up to 80 rpm, 45 rpm or 40 rpm!
With other reductions and transmissions or rotational speeds, the instrument can
only work with the AL function.

Storage of various programmes

With MD20 up to three different settings can be set as fixed programmes (Program 1 to Program 3).
The display shows which programme is activated. The settings are automatically stored when switching
off the device.
When switching on the device, program 1 appears in the display and Motor 1 is
active!
