2.1 Standard delivery

2.3 Requirements and regulations

Installation, commissioning and
maintenance of this device shall only
be carried out by a qualified installer in
accordance with these instructions.

Correct function and operational safety
can only be guaranteed in conjunction
with the original accessories and spares
intended for this device.

Water installation
– Cold water pipe material:
Steel, copper or plastic pipe systems.
– Hot water pipe material:
Copper or plastic pipe systems
Any plastic pipe system must be designed
to withstand the maximum possible
conditions (temperature and pressure) in
the event of a fault.
Energy Saving Act (ENEG)
The hot water pipe must be thermally
insulated.
The DHW temperature in the pipework is
restricted to a maximum of 60 °C through
automatic devices or other measures. This
does not apply to DHW systems that require
higher temperatures or need line lengths of
less than 5 m.
DHW systems shall be equipped with
automatic devices to shut down the
DHW circulation pump.
On freestanding cylinders with a
DHW circulation line, the DHW circulation
pump shall be controlled by installing
a time switch and, if necessary, contact
thermostats.
