Make sure that the saw is switched off and disconnected from the power source before any
assembly or adjustment operations.
INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT Of ANGLES IN RELATION TO THE BLADE
The different angle positions for mitre cuts have been adjusted in the factory. However, for precision
work, check whether the angles are correct before you use your saw
Groove / Bevel Indicator
6.Adjust the position of the guide fence in relation to the square then tighten the 4 locking bolts once
more.
ADJUSTING STOPS TO 90 AND 45 DEGREES fOR BEVEL CUTS
Bevel locking handle
Bevel scale
6.To check the 45° angle, unscrew the bevel locking handle and move the head to the left, then tighten the bevel locking handle once more
when you reach the bevel stop.
7.Using a 45° square, check that the blade is at 45° in relation to the table as shown in the figure.
8.If you need to make adjustments, unscrew the bevel locking handle. Then unscrew the locking nut (C) Figure 6 and turn the adjustment
screw (D) until the head of the screw comes into contact with the inside of the base support when the blade is at 45° to the table. Tighten
the locking nut (C).
9.These stops allow you to quickly position the blade at 90 and 45 degrees, which are the most useful bevel angles.
ROTATING THE TABLE fOR MITRE CUTS
Your slide compound mitre saw can make cuts at any angle, from a right angle of 90° to 45° to the right and 45° to the left. Once you have
made sure that the table locking screw has been unscrewed, turn the table to the required angle.

IMPORTANT!
1. Disconnect the saw. Lock the cutting arm in the up
position and slightly unscrew the table locking screw.
2. Then turn the table to 90° for a cross-cut (that is, the
machine must be positioned at 0°). Tighten the locking
screw once more.
3. Check that the blade is properly set at 90° to the guide
fence using a square (NOT PROVIDED) (Figure N) by pla-
cing one end of the square against the guide fence and
the other against the blade.
4. If you need to make adjustments, proceed as follows:
5. Unscrew the locking bolts located on the guide fence
using an appropriate Allen key (on each side) Figure N.
1.Disconnect the saw. Lock down the cutting arm. Turn the table to
the 90° position (see previous section).
2.Unscrew the bevel locking handle and push the cutting head fully
to the right. Then tighten the bevel locking handle once more (Figure
O).
3.Place one side of a square (NOT PROVIDED) on the table and the
other against the blade. Check that the blade is at 90° to the table
(Figure P).
4.If you need to make adjustments, unscrew the bevel locking
handle. Then unscrew the locking nut (A) Figure 6 and turn the
adjustment screw (B) until the head of the screw comes into contact
with the inside of the base support when the blade is at 90° to the
table. Tighten the locking nut (A) once more.
5.When you are sure that the blade is at 90° to the table, unscrew the
pointer adjustment screw and adjust the marker so that it is aligned
with the 0° mark on the head tilt scale.
