4. Move the throttle trigger ⅓ to the left to open
position.
5. Set the choke control in the correct position.
a) If the engine is cold, close the choke.
b) If the engine is warm or the ambient temperature
is high, open the choke.
Note: The closed choke position makes the fuel
mixture better for starting a cold engine. The open
choke position gives the correct fuel mixture for
operation after the engine starts and for restarting a
warm engine.
6. Pull the starter rope handle slowly until you feel
resistance.
7. Release the starter rope handle to let the starter
rope go back.
8. Pull the starter rope handle until the engine starts.
The blade starts to rotate when the engine is on
9. Open the choke control gradually until it is fully open.
10. Let the engine operate at idle speed for 2–3 minutes
before you apply full throttle.
11. Push the handle down and pull the blade release
lever to slowly lower the blade into the concrete.
To do work with dust
This product has a dust outlet on the blade block cover.
The dust outlet is used to connect a dust extractor.
• Always use a dust extractor. It is also recommended
to use an antistatic extraction hose.
Note: For Husqvarna products, OSHA objective data

performance of the dust extractor can change over
time.
To connect a dust extractor to the
product
1. Turn the wing nut on the plug counterclockwise.
2. Remove the plug from the pipe on the blade block
cover.
3. Connect a dust extractor to the blade block.
Note: If the dust extractor is not compatible with the
connection on the product, use an adapter.
To operate the product, Soff-Cut 150
CAUTION: Make sure that no objects hit the
blade block. It can cause damage to the
product.
1. Start the engine. Refer to
page 13 .
2. Open the engine throttle lever to full open position
for maximum engine speed.
3. Align the front pointer (A) and the rear pointer (B)
with the line where you will do the cut.
