Aligning the EL–52425 through vehic-
le longitudinal center plane
(Optional when using the laser module P-Assist S5)

The specific values for the exact alignment of the
EL–52425 described in the car manufacturer's "Re-
pair instructions".
Find below an alignment example
1. Place the EL–52425 in front of the vehicle.
2. Attach the P-Assist S5 to laser mount A and secure it
with the securing cable.

3. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
 The laser line now runs across the vehicle.
4. Align the EL–52425 in such a way that the manu-
facturer badge on the front of the vehicle and the
antenna are marked by the laser line.
 The EL–52425 is now aligned with the front of
the vehicle.

If the manufacturer badge and the antenna are not
located along the longitudinal center plane of the
vehicle, the manufacturer badge on the tailgate can
be used as a second reference point. If so, open the
tailgate and highlight the center of the manufacturer
badge on the vehicle front and the tailgate with the
laser line.
5.4
Aligning the precision holder
Align the precision holder using the spirit levels, tur-
ning the positioning feet on the base plate by means
of the star knob screws.

For static windshield camera calibration, the
EL–52425 must be aligned by the roll angle and
pitch angle spirit levels.
