10. Assembly Instructions
Warning!
Secure the electric connection with an earth leakage circuit breaker (RCD). Failure to
observe can mean risk of death or material damage, e. g. from electric shock or fire.
☞
Where improper installations lead to mutual influencing between neighbouring
urinals, this can be compensated by changing the sensitivity of the system and by
additionally engaging the immunity mode (see
10.1 Connect to the water supply.
10.2 Mount the solenoid valve (d).
10.3 Check the function of the sensor (see
10.4 Use the premounted reclosable fastener hook to secure the radar sensor (a) to the
siphon (b).
10.5 Connect the control unit (c) to the solenoid valve (d) and the radar sensor (a).
10.6 Connect the power supply (e) to the mains (f, 230 V AC).
10.7 Mount the urinal.
10.8 Install the siphon control unit.
10.9 Use a hollow hexagon wrench to open/close the water volume regulator.
a: closed
b: open
10.10 Pour at least 2 l water into the urinal.
• The first flush is triggered after 10 s.
• The system is ready.
11. Checking the Sensor
☞
During the first 4 minutes after commissioning the radar sensor, the LED shows the
reaction of the radar sensor (flashes or lights up).
☞
If the sensor is to be checked again, it is first necessary to disconnect the power supply
and the control unit for at least 20 s.
11.1 Connect the control unit to the power supply.
• The LED flashes 6 times short and 1 time long.
11.2 Move your hand directly in front of the radar sensor.
• The LED on the control unit lights up.
11.3 Remove your hand from the radar sensor after 5 s.
• The LED is off.
