Section 2.
Overview of the PDA Handheld Remote
This document gives instructions for operating the Jandy
instructions must be followed exactly. Read through the instructions completely before operating the equipment.
2.1 Basic Functions
The AquaLink PDA Handheld Remote can turn your pool/spa equipment on and off in any of the following three
ways:
1.
Activate the equipment manually through the EQUIPMENT ON/OFF menu.
2.
Program the equipment to turn on and off at specific times. See Section 5.3 for a detailed explanation of how
to program equipment for automatic operation.
3.
Use the PDA handheld remote buttons 1 or 2 (Hotkeys). See Section 5.9 for a detailed explanation of how to
program Hotkeys 1 and 2.
NOTE
The default setting for Hotkeys 1 and 2 are AUX1 and AUX2 respectively. However, these buttons can be assigned to any
piece of equipment connected to a circuit or relay.
2.2 Using the Buttons
Use the buttons as explained in the diagram below.
