13 Insert /replace rechargeable batteries/batteries
COMMANDER 2 H2N/H2N+
13.1 Insert /replace rechargeable batteries/batteries
The COMMANDER 2 H2N/H2N+ requires 3 rechargeable
batteries/batteries size AA 1.5V to run.
1. Lever the clip of the battery compartment flip to the
outside, unlock and open battery compartment.
2. Pull on the battery tape to undo and remove
2 rechargeable batteries/batteries 3. Undo
rechargeable battery/battery by hand and also remove.
3. Insert rechargeable batteries/batteries; ensure that the
battery tape is posited back under the top 2
rechargeable batteries/batteries. Note polarity.
4. To close the cover, press down on it until it audibly latches
into position with a click.
CAUTION!
Check that the battery tape is not positioned between the battery
compartment flap and the seal, as otherwise the housing tightness is no
longer ensured.
14 Maintenance/Care
14.1 Maintenance
The PRIMUS 2 H2N/H2N+ and the COMMANDER 2 H2N/H2N+ are mainte-
nance free units. If the PRIMUS 2 H2N/H2N+ or the COMMANDER 2 H2N/
H2N+ no longer function due to an internal error (error messages Err9-Err11)
or damage, send them for repair to:

14.2 Care
The laser diode of the rotating laser is protected by glass covers. Use a soft
cloth to regularly clean the glass covers and ensure correct operation. Avoid
scratches in the glass covers. Dirt on the laser reception field of the COM-
MANDER 2 H2N/H2N+ affects the reception quality and range of the laser
receiver.Use standard cleaning agents to clean the dustproof and watertight,
partly rubberised housing. Use plenty of water to remove heavy soiling.
CAUTION!
Do not immerse PRIMUS 2 H2N/H2N+ and COMMANDER 2 H2N/
H2N+ in water.
