12. Service and maintenance

• All service and maintenance tasks are the responsibility of the approved
Technical Customer Service.
• Given the present state of the art, components of electrical appliances are
subject to a certain degree of wear over time.
• To ensure proper function and safety, we recommend regular inspection by
the Customer Service.

Maintenance and repair work on electrical parts may only be carried out by
the approved Technical Customer Service! Improper repair may result in dan-
ger to the user!

13. Disposal of old appliances

All materials used are environmentally friendly, have a material identifier and
are recyclable.
• The appliance does not belong in household waste disposal bins. Valuable
raw materials can be recovered through environmentally friendly disposal.
• Please contact your local authority for information on current disposal op-
tions.
• Make the old appliance unusable so that there is no danger to others, for
example children playing:
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Cut the mains power cable.

14. Warranty

12-month warranty
Tested German quality is guaranteed through the use of high-quality materials
and conscientious workmanship. As the manufacturer, we offer you a 12-month
warranty from the date of purchase for our products with regard to all deficien-
cies caused by material or manufacturing errors.
If contrary to expectations a defect of this appliance occurs within our warranty
period, we will, at our discretion, either repair the faulty product or provide a
fault-free replacement. These services are only provided upon presentation of
the original invoice or receipt.
The warranty does not cover damage caused as a result of improper use or by
normal wear and tear. The warranty obligation is also void in the event of incor-
rect interference with the product by unauthorised persons or use of third-par-
ty products during assembly.
Deficiencies which have a negligible effect on the value and serviceability of the
appliance are not covered by the warranty.
This manufacturer warranty does not affect your contractual and statutory
claims against the vendor.
In the event of a claim under the warranty, please contact the Technical Customer
Service for your region.
