Doors at risk from break-in: On doors at risk from break-in, the profile
cylinder must be protected with a VdS-approved burglary-resistant door
plate (with pulling protection) in class B or C. Such door plates must
comply with DIN 18257 Class ES 2 (-ZA) or ES 3 (-ZA) or DIN EN 1906
Protection Classes 3 and 4 (refer to table).
Special care when managing a locking system: Managing a locking
system requires a particular level of care. Particular attention must be
paid to the correct assignment of people to the keys that are issued.
Lost keys must be electronically disabled immediately or the affected
mechanical cylinder must be replaced.
