The duty cycle S2 10 min (short-time duty) states that
the engine may only be continuously loaded with the
rated power (400W) for the time specified on the data
plate (10 min). Otherwise, it would heat up impermis-
sibly. During the pause, the motor cools down again
to its initial temperature.
Noise and vibration
The noise and vibration levels have been determined
in accordance with EN 62841.

8. Unpacking

• Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating instructions before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.

Assembly

Warning!
Always pull out the mains plug before carrying out
adjustments on the device.
• Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
• Always pull out the mains plug before carrying out
adjustments on the device.
• Pull out the mains plug before all maintenance and
assembly work.
• The machine must be stable, i.e. bolted down on a
workbench or similar. or similar.
• Prior to commissioning, all covers and safety devic-
es must be mounted correctly.
• The grinding disc must be able to run freely.
Safety instruction! Do not connect the device until all
assembly and adjustment work has been completed
and the operating manual and safety instructions have
been read and understood.
Tool support (left and right) (Fig. 1, 2, 2.1)
Fasten the tool support (4) to the grinding wheel guard
(6) with the mushroom head screw (M6x10) (a) and
the star grip nut (b). The distance between the grind-
ing disc (3) and the tool support (4) must be set to
max. 2 mm.
Spark protection with LED work lamp (left and
right) (Fig. 1, 3)
Fasten the spark guard (2) with LED work lamps (5)
to the grinding wheel guard (6) with two M5x8 pan
head screws (c).
The distance to the grinding wheel (3) should be not
more than 2mm. The distance between the spark
guard (2) and the grinding wheel (3) can be adjusted
by slackening the two pan head screws (c). Tighten
the screws securely.
