Storage
Preparing the pump for
storage
After use it is important to flush out the pump using
●
a clean, neutral liquid. This is particularly important
if it has been used to pump acid, saline liquids or
other severely polluted or aggressive liquids.
When the pump is to be stored for 24 hours or
●
more, the air motor should be lubricated to protect
it from corrosion.
●
Pour approximately 1 dl of anti-corrosion oil
directly into the air intake of the pump. Connect
the pump to the compressed air line, and run it for
a couple of seconds. It should be run at a very low
speed, in order to distribute the anti-corrosion oil
inside the air motor.
●
After lubricating with an anti-corrosion oil, the air
intake must be plugged.
When a pump that has been in storage is to be
●
put back to use, pour a little oil directly into the air
intake before starting the pump.
Disposal
A used machine must be treated and disposed of in
such a way that the greatest possible portion of the
material can be recycled and any negative influence
on the environment is kept as low as possible, and
in respect to local restrictions.
