DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS

Steam tap knob (1)
Turned by 90° to the left it delivers steam
continuously from the steam wand (2), turned by 45°
to the right it activates the Purge function.
To stop the steam delivery turn the knob to its initial
position.
The same operation is valid for the hot water tap
knob.

Unit lever (3)
Turn the unit lever upwards until you hear a
mechanical click to carry out the pre-infusion without
pump (fig. 2).
Turn the unit lever fully up to activate pump coffee
delivery (fig. 3).

To stop the coffee delivery turn the knob to its initial
position (fig. 1).
7.1 SPECIAL CONTROLS
- Coffee dispensing timer
For the CUBE R model only, during extraction the
coffee extraction time in seconds is displayed
(it remains visible for another 30s at the end of
extraction).
- Coffee counter
There are several coffee counters that are only
accessible through the use of WEBAPP:
• daily coffee counters;
• weekly coffee counters;
• monthly coffee counters;

• total coffee counters.
These counters are linked to the calendar date and
reset automatically.
- Report of water filter change
The management related to the consumption and
verification of the machine filters is foreseen both for
the tank machine and for the machine connected to
the domestic mains. Filter consumption is managed
on a time basis. The time expiry function signals the
expiry of the filters after the set time from 1 to 12
months and it is possible to view it on the display by
briefly pressing the button on the side. A scrolling
text is displayed which, after the set point, shows the
missing days to the filter expiry (e.g. Fr -90 indicates
90 days to the expiry).
