– To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
– If an extension lead is absolutely necessary, a 10 amp cable should be used. Ensure no one
can trip over or unplug the extension lead. It must be fi tted with an earth connection.
– Use a mains supply which has an earth connection, for your own safety.
– If you fi ll the water tank without removing it from its compartment in the appliance, it is
essential to unplug the appliance fi rst.
– Do not leave the appliance on stairways or other unstable areas where it might be knocked over.
– Do not store the appliance out of doors orwhere there is a risk of frost.
– Any appliance that is no longer usable must be neutralised before being thrown away :
cut off the power lead. For any repair, take your machine to a registered aftersales service
centre, so that the repair will be in accordance with the standards indicated in this instruction
book.
The appliance must not be cleaned or maintained by children,
–
unless they are more than 8 years old and supervised by an
adult.
– Never immerse the machine in water or other liquids, not even partially.
– Do not touch the hot surfaces.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, if it leaks, or if

the power cable is damaged. To avoid any risk of electric
shocks, do not dismantle your iron. Contact your nearest
After Sales Service dealer for servicing or repair.
– For any repair, contact an approved registered after-sales service centre, so that the repair
will be in accordance with the standards indicated in this instruction book.
– Any repair done by an unauthorised person would cancel the warranty.
– Once out of order, every appliance must be made unusable before being thrown away. To
this aim, the power cord must be cut.
The steam generated is extremely hot and could cause serious burns.
IMPORTANT
- Never call for steam when the water tank is empty ; you run the risk of damaging the pump.
- Never add alcohol-based products (perfumes, eau de cologne, etc) to the water.
- Do not use cleaning products or other detergents or stain removers.
- Do not point the jet of steam at an animal or person. The steam is extremely hot and could
cause serious burns.
- Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of any electrical plugs or equipment, including
the cleaning appliance itself.
- Do not change the attachments whilst the appliance is emitting steam.
- Use only DOMENA accessories.
