• Insert the SIM card into the HAMGSM.
• Connect the battery after connecting the power. The HAMGSM needs the
battery for connection to the network.
• At first use, the connection procedure may take up to 2 minutes. After
connection has been established, the status LED (2) will flash every 5
seconds. Connection has not been established when flashing once every
second.
• The HAMGSM will report its accessibility by switching off the contact. The
red LED (on the push button to be mounted) will blink (e.g. 3 flashes =
signal strength 3, 0 flashes = no reception, 5 flashes = max. reception). The
buzzer will also sound.
2.3.1. Which Telephone Will Receive the SMS Message?
Number of the receiving telephone, e.g. 0123/456789.
• After hearing or seeing the reception signal, send following message to the HAMGSM:
A1111+xx123456789. A stands for "ALARM", 1111 stands the default password (see section 2.3.2.
Personal Code to choose your password), +xx stands for the international dialling code,
123456789 stands for the dialling number of the message receiving mobile phone.
• Do not enter any spaces before or in your message. Every time you send a message to the
HAMGSM, you will be able to check if it has received your message.
• The LED on the push button will flash 3 times as soon as the HAMGSM receives the message.
• After ± 45 seconds, the HAMGSM will send an SMS message to the input dialling number as
confirmation. After 45 seconds, the LED on the push button will power on and off twice, followed by
a steady burning during 5 seconds to indicate the message has been sent.
• The HAMGSM will send following message as confirmation:

2.3.2. Personal Code
Desired personal code: 1234.
• Send following message to the HAMGSM: P11111234. P stands for "PASSWORD", 1111 stands
for the default password, 1234 stands for the personal code.
• Do not enter any spaces before or in your message.
• The HAMGSM will send an SMS message to the input dialling number as confirmation. Restore the
default settings in case of a lost password (see section 2.4.2.6. Restoring Default Settings).

• Send following message depending on the programming: Fxxxxy=z.
