HAMGSM – SMS ALARM MESSENGER FOR AUTOMOTIVE USE

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle
could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it
should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your
distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.

the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems. Please read the
manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it
and contact your dealer.
The HAMGSM is fully automatic and is very easy to use. In addition, it has low battery consumption. This alarm
system will warn you in case your vehicle is being moved. The HAMGSM can be used together with other alarm
systems.
2. Installation
2.1. The SIM Card
The HAMGSM uses a SIM card to send and receive the SMS messages. Insert the
SIM card in the messenger (deactivate the security function) prior to connecting the
power and activate the card. Choose the most convenient formula (subscription or
prepaid). Disconnect the fuse and the battery prior to removing the SIM card.
Contact your phone operator or connect yourself to the net for more information on
your balance.
2.2. Connection
Red: +12 VDC.
Black: - ground.
Blue: +15 V (+12 V after contact).
White: +12V output for buzzer (incl.) or external device (max. 0.5A).
Green: AUX input, negative or positive according to programming. For positive control, see 3.6..
Yellow: not used, isolate.
• Connect the buzzer to the allocated connector of the HAMGSM.
• Connect the push button to the allocated connector and install discretely in the car.
2.3. Connection to the network
Remark:
Make sure to have a positive balance on your SIM card!
