Installing your child restraint in the vehicle - Forward Facing mode
Important! Remove newborn filler cushion in forward
facing mode (see page 54).
IMPORTANT: make sure that the Anti-Rebound Bar
is properly stowed when using the seat forward
facing as shown in page 31.
FORWARD FACING
MODE USING UAS SYSTEM
1. Recline the child restraint pulling the handle located
below the front edge of the shell. This will make access
to the latch storage area easier.
Disconnect the latch straps from the storage bar by
pushing on the red button and pulling the straps at the
same time.
2. Pull the handle again and move the child restraint
to the upright position. You should hear a "click" when
locked in the upright position. Lean the child restraint
on the vehicle seat making sure that the lock off clips
are closed.
3. Tread the loose end of the latch strap through the shell.
4. Make sure that the strap end with the D-ring is out of
the shell and free.
