4.2 General installation conditions

Suitable single profile cylinder for
emergency opening
The product may be installed on narrow frame doors with a narrow frame mortice lock
from a backset of 35 mm or on full panel doors.
In order to avoid damage to door frames and/or glass, a shortened fixing screw
(approx. 40 mm) for the single profile cylinder is required on site when installing on
narrow frame doors (depending on the installation situation).

• Possible door thicknesses: 36 – 91mm.
Door thicknesses over 91 mm only after prior consultation with
Häfele.
• Possible door materials: Metal, wood and wood material.
• Always drill holes in the door leaf from both sides to prevent
pieces of the door from breaking away.
• The single profile cylinder for emergency opening is not included
in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.
• The size of the single profile cylinder depends on the door
thickness.

• The mortice must be present and must comply with the
dimensioned drawing in the installation instructions.

