3.1 Meat mincing instructions
1. With the machine disconnected, attach the mincing head (6) to the motor
unit (2). Insert the mincing head into the slot on the motor unit whilst pressing
the connection button (5), you will hear a click when it is attached (Figure 1).
Once attached, rotate the head softly until the neck is locked perpendicular
(Figure 2)
2. Insert the feed screw (7) through the mouth of the mincing head, attaching
it to the motor unit output shaft. (Figure 3)
3. Proceed to install the blade (9) facing the blade edges outwards. The
machine may be damaged if the blade is installed backwards. Install the
plate (8) so that its slot is seated on the cotter located inside the head.
Fasten the entire assembly by rotating the cap (10) onto the threaded head
rim. (Figure 4)
4. Attach the tray (1) onto the neck of the mincing head.
5. The machine is now ready to start mincing meat and you can now connect
it to the mains.
6. Cut the meat into pieces approximately 2 cm thick and 7 cm long, it is
recommended that the meat does not contain any tendons, bones or fat to
ensure optimum mincer operation. It is OK to leave pieces of meat on the
tray.
7. Press the ON/OFF button (3) and the feed screw starts to turn. Insert the
pieces of meat into the neck with the help of the food pusher. The minced
meat will start to exit the head.
REMEMBER
Excessive head loading causes the motor to slow down and damages the
grinder.
SUGGESTIONS
The minced meat is very susceptible to the growth of micro organisms.
