Operating instructions
When the operator is being used, the
opening and closing phases must be
monitored.
There must be no persons or objects within the
closing area of the door.
The closing procedure can be interrupted by
letting go the command controller.
When operating the quick release mechanism
(manual release), there is a danger that the door
can move
uncontrolled.
Discription of function
The control unit allows a variety of operating modes:
Dead man OPEN / Dead man CLOSE
Pressing button
and keeping it pressed causes the
door to open until the OPEN end-of-travel position is
reached. Releasing the button causes the door to
stop. The door is closed by dead man's control, i.e.
pressing button
and keeping it pressed, until the
door reaches its CLOSE end-of-travel position. If the
button
is released during closing, the door stops
instantly.
Impulse OPEN / Dead man CLOSE
By briefly pressing the button
impulse from an external impulse generator, the door
starts to open until reaching the OPEN end-of-travel
position or the door can be stopped beforehand by
pressing button . If button
is pressed again, the
door continues to open. The door is closed by dead
man's control, i.e. pressing button
pressed, until the door reaches its CLOSE end-of-
travel position. If the button
closing, the door stops instantly.
Extended dead man OPEN / Reversing function
CLOSE
Like operating mode Impulse OPEN / Dead man
CLOSE. However, if button
is released during the
closing movement, the drive will reverse the direction
of rotation and continue the gate run towards OPEN
until the OPEN end-of-travel position has been
reached again.
Maintenance / Checks
For your own safety, we recommend
that prior to initial operation and
whenever required - however at least
once a year, you have the door system
tested by a specialist company.
