3.2.5.1 How to change the eye piece

You can change the eye piece to suit your imaging requirements. To change the eye piece follow this
procedure:
1. Insert your index finger into the eye piece hole.
2. Firmly hold the eye piece backing plate.
3. Pull the eye piece away from the scan head.
To replace the eye piece push it onto the scan head and ensure all the tabs click into place.
Note
Do not touch the mirror when replacing the eye piece.

3.2.6 How to capture stereo images

Depending on the features available on your device, you may be able to capture stereo pairs.
1. Attach the 50mm sized eye piece, see How to change the eye piece above .
2. Position the patient, see How to prepare for image capture on page 34 .
3. Align the patient, see How to align the patient on page 35
4. Select the image modality and stereo pair options on the touch screen.
5. Select the first stereo image. The circles will move to the left. Ask the patient to slide slowly to their
right. You will need to tell the patient to stop when the pupil tracker is in the center of the cross hairs.
6. Capture the image.
7. Select the second stereo image. The circles will move to the right. Ask the patient to slide slowly to
their left. You will need to tell the patient to stop when the pupil tracker is in the center of the cross
hairs.
8. Capture the image.
9. Check the quality of the images, see What to do after the image is captured below .

3.2.7 What to do after the image is captured

After you have captured the image, the image quality needs to be checked. You can then continue or complete
the session.
1. Check the quality of the captured image and, if required, continue capturing images.
2. From the preview screen you can select laterality.
3. Select
Keep
if the quality of all captured images is acceptable.
4. Replace the dust cap when you have finished imaging each patient.
