Accessories

2.5.1 Fixing accessories
Item
The purpose of the side cover set is to
integrate the collector in the existing roof cover.
The compensator is used to connect two
collectors incl. thermal insulation and
venting screw.
The pipe duct is used as a hydraulic
connection and is only used if more than five
collectors are installed next to each other.
The cover extension above each other is
required when two collectors are installed
above each other and is used to cover the
connections between the upper and lower
collector.

Pipework installation
The pipes for flow and return lines must be
made of copper or stainless steel or should be
corrugated stainless steel hoses.

Roof outlet/duct
Two flexible stainless steel corrugated tubes
that can be mounted on the threaded collector
connections or collector sensor well with flat
packing and union nuts are used to connect
the collector array to the pipework. These
roof outlets/ducts are equipped with factory-
fitted thermal insulation that is resistant to
temperature and UV.
