In order to prevent water boiling in the boiler, when the thermoheating stove is in function, the circulation pump must
be in function in order to dispose of the heat given to the boiler water on the radiators.
The system must be kept constantly full of water even in period when use of the thermoheating stove is not
requested. During the winter, inactivity must be faced with the addition of antifreeze.
14.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Have a chimneysweep check the correct installation, connection to the chimney and aeration of thermocooker.
When cleaning enamelled parts, use soapy water or detergents which are not abrasive or chemically aggressive.
Should the chrome-plated components become bluish due to overheating, this can be resolved with a suitable
cleaning product.
IMPORTANT: only spare parts which have been expressly authorised and offered by La Nordica can be used. If parts
are required, please contact your specialised dealer.

14.1.
FLUE CLEANING
The correct ignition procedure, the use of suitable quantities and types of fuel, the correct positioning of the secondary
air register, sufficient chimney draught and the presence of comburent air are essential for optimum appliance
operation. At least once a year, or whenever it becomes necessary (malfunctioning problems with insufficient output)
it is advisable to carry out complete cleaning. This operation, carried out exclusively when the cooker is cold,
should be carried out by a chimneysweep who can carry out an inspection at the
same time.
During cleaning, it is necessary to remove the flue gas exhaust stub pipe and the flue
gas pipe. The flue gas collection tank can be cleaned from the oven (after having
removed the two screws which secure the extractable oven plate Picture 10), or from
above.
For this purpose, remove the cooking plate rings and disassemble the flue gas pipe
from the exhaust stub pipe. Cleaning can be carried out with the aid of a brush and a
vacuum cleaner. It will be necessary to carefully clean the exchange surfaces removing
the movable part of the hob and scraping the exchange surfaces of the furnace and the
pipes which compose the tube bundle located above the oven, as well as the downward
passage of the smoke on the right side of the oven.
Later clean the smoke passage under the oven proceeding in the following way:
1. open oven door.
2. remove the two screws that fix the panel to the base of the oven close to the threshold (see Picture 12);
3. remove the horizontal sheet metal which is the base of the oven;
4. clean the chamber below from any accumulations of ash which can obstruct the passage;
5. check the position of the smoke deflector (see Picture 11);
6. reassemble the sheet metal after checking integrity of the seal ring;
7. fix the self-threading screws.
Take care that, after cleaning, all the disassembled parts are reinstalled in a hermetic way.
