Maintenance regulations
Electrofusion machines that are not maintained, or are not professionally maintained, can
cause serious accidents. It is essential to observe the maintenance intervals and maintenance
work outlined below.

Maintenance work
• Visually inspect the electrofusion machine for externally
visible defects and damage that could affect safety. Do not
operate a damaged electrofusion machine.
• Visually inspect the mains cable for externally visible
defects and damage that could affect safety. Have an
electrically skilled person replace the damaged mains cable
or hand the electrofusion machine over to an authorised
repair shop for repair.
• Clean the sleeve of the electrofusion machine with a damp
cloth.
