Important advice

Follow carefully the drawings to perform a good and a trouble free installation.
Install the base on a perfectly level surface with no contact with combustible material
It is recommanded to built the first row of the outside shell of the heater to line up,
locate everything inside of the unit and build the rest of the heater evenly
It is very important that there is no contact between the inside and the outside
to prevent cracking the stone due to expansion.
Use the good ratio of the sodium silicate and the soapstone dust( 1 / 3)
to get a glue that is knive grade
Line up every stone carefully with a rubber mallet
Install the clips with enough pressure so that the stone will be tight all adequately
Clean up the heater as you perform the installation. The glue sets quickly on dry stone.
Use a sponge with very little water so it will not dilute the glue in the join.
Apply a layer of ceramic blanket on the back of the firebox
and all around of the firebox openning.
Use the ceramic blanket to make a tight seal between the liners,
inside core and outside shell.
