i) Ending use
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Let the vehicle roll to a halt.
• Once the vehicle comes to a standstill, remove the body and turn the vehicle off (e.g. drive control unit switch to the
"OFF" position).
Make sure not to touch the wheels or the drive, and do not move, in any case, the lever for the drive
function on the remote control (transmitter)!
• Disconnect the rechargeable battery pack from the drive control unit. Disconnect the plug-in connection completely.
• Only then may you turn off the remote control (transmitter).
Note!
The motor, drive control unit and rechargeable battery pack become very hot during operation! Do not
touch these parts immediately after operation. Danger of burns!
Stop driving immediately if the vehicle shows unusual responses to the remote commands or if the vehicle
does not respond at all.
This behaviour could be caused by a weak vehicle battery, weak batteries/rechargeable batteries in the
remote control or by too great a distance between vehicle and remote control.
The antenna of the remote control not being fully extended, disturbances on the radio channel used (e.g.
other models, radio transmissions through other devices) or adverse transmission/reception conditions
could also be causes of unusual responses by the vehicle.
j) Carrying the vehicle
Radio interference, unintentional use of the remote control or a transmitter using the same channel can lead to
unpredictable responses by the vehicle.
Thus it is imperative to ensure that you do not reach into the drive, when the vehicle is being placed in its
start position or if it is to be lifted off the ground.
