How to proceed:
On the router:
· Press the WPS button on the router to activate WPS.
– Follow the information given in the router operating instructions.
– WPS is only active for a limited time. Activate WPS on the InScenio EGC Controller during this time.

On the EGC Controller:
1. Press the button briefly (max. 2 seconds) to activate the WPS.
– The LED is lit green and flashes rapidly.
– The WPS remains active for 2 minutes.
– The connection is established when the green LED flashes slowly (2 seconds on, 1 second off).
On the smartphone/tablet:
2. Establish a connection to the WIFI router.
3. Start the "OASE Easy Controlʺ app.
– InScenio EGC Controller can now be controlled using the "OASE Easy Control" app.

Establishing a direct WIFI connection (access point mode)

If there is no router available or the existing router does not support WPS, it is necessary to establish a direct
connection between the InScenio EGC Controller and a smartphone/tablet. This is also recommended if the
distance from the router exceeds 260 ft (80 m) or the WIFI range for connection to the router is exceeded.
· The range of the WIFI connection between the InScenio EGC Controller and your smartphone/tablet can span
a distance of up to 260 ft (80 m) provided there is unobstructed signal transmission and there is no source of
interference.
· Compatibility with the following WIFI standards: 802.11n+g+b
– Exclusively in the frequency range 2.4 GHz.
· The network name (SSID)
– The sequence of letters "xxxxxx" in the network name (SSID)
of the MAC address of the EGC controller.
· The standard password
– The InScenio EGC Controller is factory-set to the standard password
– The connection is encrypted and protected by a password.
