Drive release
• There are four different waiting times for the drive release (see table). These times depend on the actual plasti-
cizing temperature and the set plasticizing temperature. The pre-heating air does not affect the drive release.
• The release zone begins as soon as the actual plasticizing temperature is higher than the set temperature – 20 K.
• Corresponding symbol in the status display:

• If the WELDPLAST S1 cannot keep the actual plasticizing temperature in the release zone for more than 10
seconds when the drive is released, it will be locked again. As soon as the device reaches the release zone again
and the time defined in the table has elapsed, the drive is released again.
