Congratulations for choosing one of our quality pro-
ducts. Please follow these instructions carefully and
keep them with you.

1. Product description

The innovative Black & White mobile from Gardigo. Bat-
tery-operated, mobile and highly effective.
Maximum detection of domestic animals from areas
where they are not desirable, e.g. in the house, cars or
boats. Universal application. You won't have to get upset
by unwanted visits on your premises. Immediately ready
for use, no power connection and no assembly necessary.
Without the need for bothersome cabling, this new de-
vice from Gardigo can now be immediately used in all
imaginable places. Place. Switch on. Catch.
This electronic flying insect exterminator works without
chemicals and does not cause any environmental pollu-
tion whatsoever. Bothersome biting and stinging insects
(above all mosquitoes) and small flies are attracted by
ultraviolet light. On the way to the light source, the in-
sects are killed quickly and hygienically by touching the
high-voltage electrodes, which are not dangerous to hu-
man beings.
2. Safety instructions
important: Damage caused by not adhering to the ope-
rating instructions is not covered by guarantee. Gardigo
accepts no liability whatsoever for any resulting conse-
quent damages.
· Indoor use only
· Not suitable for use in barns, stables, and similar loca-
tions.
· The appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance out of reach of children.
· The appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance in a safe way and understand the hazards invol-
ved.
· Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
· The appliance is not to be used in locations where
flammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to exist.
· Remove insects from the appliance regularly and be-
fore using again after a longer break through shaking
and knocking the appliance carefully until it is clean.
Warning: The lamps in this appliance cannot be repla-
ced. Scrap the appliance when the lamps cease to ope-
rate.
Dangerous voltage
· Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
· Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the
appliance before being charged.
· Different types of batteries or new and used batteries
are not to be mixed.
· Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appli-
ance and safely disposed of.
· If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long peri-
od, the batteries should be removed.
· The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
· Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Warning: This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not
stare at the light source.
Attention: Not suitable for use in barn, stables
and similar locations. (Fire danger)
Attention: In its working condition the device ge-
nerates „high voltage".
3. Putting into operation
1. Be sure, that the device has no visible damages
caused through transporation for e.g.
2. It is recommended to place the device on places fre-
quented by insects regularely. The LED-lamp attracts
flying insects. Do not place up the device too close to
other light sources. Generally, the darkest place in the
room that is to be protected is the best. Place the de-
vice for prevention for cleaning the area from insects
before enterting the area. When using the device,
close windows and doors if possible.

3. Do not place the device in front of an open window
or an open door as the insects do not stay in draught
areas.

5. Replacement of the battery
1. Remove the housing cover.
2. Remove the old battery from its fitting.
3. Insert four new batteries size Mignon (AA). When
doing so, mind the correct polarity as shown on the
bottom inside the battery fitting.
4. Reattach the casing cover to the casing body with a
audible click into place.
6. Cleaning
1. Always switch off the appliance first.
2. With the aid of a small brush, remove the dead insects
from the grid and the lamp.
7. General information
1. Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should be
kept away from children.
2. Dispose packaging and worn out material correctly
and in an environmentally friendly way.
3. Do only pass on the device including the operation
manual.

At the end of its life span this product may not be dispo-
sed as normal household waste but must be disposed of
at a collecting place for recycling of electrical and electro-
nic equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or
on the packing points to this fact. The materials are recy-
clable according to their labelling. Through reusing, ma-
terial recycling, or other forms of utilisation of old devices

Do not throw batteries and rechargea-
ble batteries into household waste!
Consumers are legally obligated to return used and
rechargeable batteries, whether they contain harmful
substances* or not, to designated recycling areas, dispo-
sal sites, or stores where batteries/rechargeable batte-
ries can be bought. By doing so, you are fulfilling all legal
battery recycling and disposal obligations and are contri-
buting to a better enviroment. Make sure batteries are
completly discharged before disposing!
