SAFETY SWITCH MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
For use with: 30-1200 Amp Type VBII Safety Switches

Hazardous Voltage.
Will cause death or

Turn off and lock out all power supplying this
equipment before working on this device.
Replace all covers before power supplying
this device is turned on.
400-600A Fuse Clip
800-1200A Bolt-On Type Fuse Clip

5. To Re-Energize Switch
With the switch handle in the OFF position:
15.1 Reconnect any cables or accessory leads
disconnected in step 2, Safety Precautions.
15.2 Replace all covers and shields.
15.3 Close and latch the door.
15.4 Turn OFF all downstream loads.
15.5 Turn ON power supplying the switch.
15.6 Turn ON the switch.
15.7 Turn ON all downstream loads.
