Please read the detailed Instructions for Use before
measuring for the first time (from Page 40 onwards).
1. Insert batteries
2. Fit the cuff
Bare your left arm.
Place the cuff round your upper arm:
Important! The bottom edge of the cuff should be 2-3
cm above the elbow and the tube should be at the
middle of the inside of the elbow.
Close the cuff and connect it up to the device.
Stretch out your left arm and place it on a table, with
the palm facing up. Keep your arm still and do not
talk.

3. Inflate the cuff
Press the Start/Stop button. The device conducts a
performance test and all the display elements light
up.
The cuff is inflated to the necessary pressure. Then
the measuring process proper commences when air
is allowed to escape and you hear a slight hiss. The
"♥"symbol in the display flashes to indicate the pulse
rate and later there is an audible beep. Systole,
diastole and pulse are measured and the cuff is
completely deflated. The end of measurement is
indicated by a long beep.
The display shows the blood pressure levels of
systole and diastole along with the pulse rate.
4. Switch off the device
Press the Start/Stop button. The figures measured
are saved automatically.
