Do not use this appliance on an unstable
surface. It may become overturned
causing personal injury or fire.
=Do not use this appliance on a mat. Items of
this nature may block the ventilation holes
at the bottom, which can cause the appliance
to overheat.
Do not touch the cook pan or inner
metal surface of the lid, during
or soon after use. These items
may be hot and can cause
burns. Allow the inner pan to
cool before handling.
Do not place objects near the steam vent.
Some objects can deform or become
damaged when exposed to heat or steam.
Do not use the appliance in a cabinet. If the
appliance is used on a shelf or countertop,
be sure to leave enough clearance allowing
steam to vent freely without affecting the
cabinet surface.
Be sure to grasp the power plug when
unplugging, not the cord. Pulling the cord
may cause it to become damaged, leading to
an electrical shock or fire. Be sure the
appliance is not close to the plug while
unplugging it.
Unplug the rice cooker from the
electrical outlet when not in use.
Keep the outside of the pan and the pan sensor
clean and dry. Any foreign substance may cause
smoke or cause the appliance to malfunction.
Do not overfill the cooking pan. Excessive food
can overflow and damage the interior of the
cooking pan compartment.
