If rice is not cooked well
Problem
Rice boils over.
Rice is hard/soft/
half-boiled.
Rice is scorched.
A light brown layer of
rice at the very bottom
of the pan is normal.

Too much water was added.

The amount of rice was not measured with the measuring cup
provided with the rice cooker. ( Page 15)
The amount of rice cannot be measured correctly with a
measuring rice bin or other methods.

The water level was not adjusted correctly.

Rice may be cooked hard or soft depending on the type of rice or
the storage period. A newer rice crop has more moisture so
slightly less water than usual should be used when cooking.
