Safety Precautions

In order to prevent the risk of danger to the operator of this product or those nearby, and to prevent damaging property, be sure to
follow the safety precautions outlined below.
The following terms are used for precautions. They are separated depending on the degree of the danger or damage that may
occur if their contents are ignored while using this product.

This symbol indicates information that, if not heeded, could possibly result in loss of life or serious injury.

This symbol indicates information that, if not heeded, could result in injury or property damage.
The following signs are used to explain operations that you are requested to follow. They are separated as shown below.

The vent emits hot steam while
in operation and can cause
personal injury. Do not place
your hands or face over
or near this vent.
Do not plug or unplug
the appliance with wet hands.
Doing so can result in an
electrical shock.
To prevent personal injury or
damage to the appliance, do
not allow the appliance to be
used by children,
handicapped, or those
unfamiliar with the appliance.
To prevent personal injury or
damage to the appliance, do
not immerse the appliance or
expose it to water or other
liquids. If water leaks inside
the appliance, consult your
nearest retailer or service
center.
Be sure to fully insert the power
plug into the electrical outlet.
Not doing so can result in
an electrical shock or fire
due to generation of heat.
Improper insertion may result in
electrical shock or fire due to
overheating. Do not use a
damaged power plug, cord or
receptacle.
Do not allow the plug to become
dusty. Dust accumulation
combined with humidity can
cause reduced insulation, which
can lead to a fire. Unplug and
wipe with a dry cloth.

Do not damage the power cord
or plug. A damaged cord or plug
can lead to electrical shock or
fire. Do not disassemble,
expose to heat or fire, twist,
pull, place heavy objects on or
tie the power cord in a bundle. If
the power cord or plug is
damaged, do not use the
appliance. Consult your nearest
retailer or service center for
repair.
Do not attempt to modify,
disassemble, or repair the
appliance yourself. It may result
in fire, electrical shock or injury.
Refer servicing to your nearest
retailer or service center.
Do not use the appliance at a
voltage other than 120V AC. When
connecting a number of power
cords to an electrical outlet, pay
attention to the total wattage. If
the total wattage exceeds the
rated wattage of an electrical
outlet or an extension cord, fire
may be caused due to
overheating.
The size of the moisture retaining cap is quite
small, and children may instinctively put it into
their mouths. Please pay special attention.

The power cord and plug may present the risk
of personal injury when the cord is allowed to
retract freely. To prevent the cord from
"whipping", which can cause potential
risk of injury to the face, eyes, etc :
1) Always hold the plug by hand while
retracting the cord.
2) Do not allow small children to play
with the retractable power cord.
