SATA LAB Automatic Gun Operating Instructions
■ Unscrew the regulating cap [9-1].
■ Remove washer [9-2] and spring [9-3].
■ Unscrew the end cap [9-4].
■ Remove both springs [9-5], [9-6].
■ Remove paint needle [9-7].
■ Unscrew four cheese-head screws [9-10] using an Allen key.
■ Take the nozzle head [9-9] from the gun body [9-8].
Material side [10]
■ Screw the seal retainer [10-2] out of the nozzle head [10-1] using a socket
spanner [10-3].
Air side [11]
■ Screw the seal retainer [11-2] out of the gun body [11-1] using a screwdriver
[11-3].
■ Check seal retainer for damage and soiling, clean or replace if necessary.
Mount new paint needle seal retainer
Material side [10]
■ Screw the seal retainer [10-2] into the nozzle head [10-1] using a socket span-
ner [10-3].
Air side [11]
■ Screw the seal retainer [11-2] into the gun body [11-1] using a screwdriver [11-
3]. Secure with Loctite 242.
■ Position the nozzle head [9-9] on the gun body [9-8].
■ Tighten the four cheese-head screws [9-10] crosswise.
■ Insert the paint needle [9-7].
■ Position both springs [9-5], [9-6].
■ Screw on the end cap [9-4].
■ Position the spring [9-3].
■ Insert the washer [9-2] in the regulating cap [9-1].
■ Screw on the regulating cap.
■ Readjust the parameters for material flow using the scales (see chapter 9.2).
10.4. Replace the spindles of the flat fan control
Dismantle spindle
■ Unscrew the countersunk screw [12-4].
■ Pull off the control knob with index [12-3].
■ Unscrew the spindle [12-2] using the SATA universal spanner.
■ Remove the scale washer [12-1].
Mount new spindle
