5. A suitable airflow must be present around the induction cooker, intake and outlet
should not be obstructed. Proper ventilation is crucial for the longevity of the induction
cooker. (Fig. 2)
6. Note: Safe clearing between the induction cooker and any cupboard above it is at
least 760 mm, if no exhaust hood has been planned.

7. In order to make the induction cooker more rigid when installed in the counter top
and to make it water resistant, the cooker should be protected with a suitable gasket.
