Intended use
The product is used for decorative lighting indoors. Due to the slow change of colour
the inbuilt LED provides an interesting light effect. All the available light colours can
also be manually selected.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The product must not be connected to the mains and switched on while
it is in its packaging! Always first remove the product from the packaging
and fully unwind the cable before using it.
• It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
• The light is only suitable for ambient lighting and not for room lighting.
• The LED of this product cannot be replaced.
• The product must only be operated with USB standard voltage (5V/DC).
• Never use the product straight after taking it from a cold room into a warm
room. This creates condensation. If the product is connected to a power
supply and switched on, the power supply or the product itself could be
damaged! First let the product fully acclimatise before connecting and
using it. This may take several hours.
• Never cover the product while it is in use.
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorative materials) to the product -
danger of fire!
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot
be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the
rechargeable battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw
the battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using
the product. Due to the rechargeable battery technology being used, you
do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive.
It is normal that a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Operation
• Place the product on a flat, stable and sufficiently large surface. Protect valuable
surfaces with a suitable cover, otherwise the surface may become scratched or
dented.
• The product has a built-in battery. It can either be operated by the inbuilt battery or
a USB power source.
• Charge the battery fully before first use. When the battery is empty the charging
time is approx. 4½ hours. The charging time, however, depends on the USB power
supply and can therefore exceed 4½ hours. Connect the DC plug to the connection
socket on the back of the product and the USB plug with a USB power source such
as a USB power adapter. When the battery is being charged, the red LED lights up
on the back of the product, which then disappears once the battery is fully charged.
• If the product is only operated by the battery (i.e. without being connected to the
mains) the operating time of a fully charged battery is approx. 2 hours.
• To use the product with the power supply, without previously fully charging the
battery, connect the DC plug with the connection socket on the back of the product
and the USB plug with a USB power source, e.g. a USB power adapter.
• Switch the product on by the on/off switch on the back of the product.
• After the device has been switched on the colours are changed automatically and
continuously in an endless loop.
• If you do not want the colours to change automatically, and wish to have a certain
colour, press the light button on the front of the product. Each time the light button is
pressed the colour changes in the following order: Red, orange-yellow, light green,
green, turquoise, light blue, blue, violet and pink.
• To return to the automatic colour change mode, hold the light button on the front for
2-3 seconds and then release it.
• Switch the product off by the on/off switch on the back of the product. Disconnect
the product from the power supply when it is not in use.
Maintenance and cleaning
• The product is maintenance-free. The LED lights used are inbuilt and cannot be
replaced. Have any maintenance/repairs performed by a specialist.
• Before cleaning the product, switch it off and disconnect it from the power supply.
• The outside of the product should only be wiped with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
• Never use aggressive cleansers or chemical solvents. They might damage the
housing and impair the functioning of the unit.
• In the event of stubborn stains the cloth can be dampened with some water.
