7. Operation

WARNING!
Risk of fire
The CP-R-SWL safety shut-off is installed in the cover frame of the sauna
heater. This means it can only work if the weight of the deposited object
is pressing down on the cover frame. When the full weight of the object
is on the sauna stones and/or the ceramic bowl, the safety shut-off of
the sauna heater does NOT switch off.
The safety shut-off only turns off the sauna heater if the sauna heater
is completely covered by a towel.
● Do NOT place objects on the sauna heater.

Risk of fire
If the sauna stones protrude above the basket of stones, the CP-R-SWL
safety shut-off does NOT work.
● Make sure that the sauna stones do NOT protrude above the edge
of the stone container.
● Follow the instructions with regard to the number of stones given in
the operating instructions for the sauna heater.
If the safety shut-off switches off the sauna heater, then there is an object on
the sauna heater. Depending on the sauna control unit, this is indicated in dif-
ferent ways:
► An error message appears on the sauna control unit (E ...)
► Visual signal (flashing light etc.)
► Recurring warning tone
To rectify faults, perform the following steps:
1. Switch off the sauna control unit.
2. Remove the object from the sauna heater.
3. Switch the sauna control unit back on.
If the problem persists, consult your supplier.
