BS-XXXX communicating to a PC in a local network
The BS1000/BS1200 has been connected to a PC by a local
network
To setup connection the following steps are required:
1. In the Multilogger software select the menu 'tools' entry 'syncfile
config tool'.
2. Open this tool by selecting the 'extra'-menu's entry 'BS1X00
wizard'.
3. Follow the wizard's instructions, which automatically will generate a
rule file for the BS1xxx receiver. Simultaneously the file sync.xml
at the PC will be modified

BS1000/BS1200/BS1400 communicating to an external web-
site: e.g. www.multilogger.nl
To setup connection the following steps are required:
1. Visit www.multilogger.nl and register for an account and a login
2. Proceed by entering the admin page and start the link 'quick setup'.
3. Register your site (by choosing the site's name, entering the
sensors' ID's to be displayed at your site. Also you will have to
specify the sensor type). Proceed by selecting the following page.
4. Now store the previously generated rulefile at your own PC by
clicking the rulefile's link.
5. Complete the configuration by uploading the rulefile, which had
been stored at your PC, to the BS1xxxx. Login to the Bsxxxx at
your browser and navigate to the Administration > Messenger to
upload the file to your Bsxxxx. To upload the file you may also use
the configuration tool in the Multilogger's software. If required you
may always modify the rulefile.
Attention: The Rulefile will not need any modifications if extra
sensors are to be added to the system!
