USER SAFETY

- Do not touch the hot elements (capsule-holder, etc.)
immediately after using the machine. Danger of burning.
- While distributing the drink beware of possible spills of hot liquid.
- Do not lift the capsule-holder compartment while
distributing the drink.

UNPACKING AND PLACEMENT

• Unpack the machine, check for every component and make sure these do
not show any ruptures.
The package (cardboard, cellophane, metal staples, etc.) may
cut or injure if not handled with care or wrongly used; keep away
from children and from irresponsible people.
• Place the machine on a fl at surface, regular, stable, heat-resistant and
suitable for the machine's weight.
• Do not install or use the machine close to curtains or any other infl ammable
material, and do not place any other object on top of the machine while it is
working.
• Do not place the machine on top or close to a traditional oven or other heat
sources (for example, a radiator, etc.).

CORRECT USE

• This machine was conceived to make expresso coff ee DELTA Q (from
capsules), exclusively for domestic purposes and analogous.
It must not be used for other purposes and must not be altered or
disassembled for any reason.
Any other use is considered inadequate and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer must not be considered responsible for possible damage
caused by inadequate, wrong or irrational use.

• The manufacturer declares that the product mentioned in this manual was
manufactured in accordance with the European Community's Directives as
indicated in the attached declaration of conformity.

SETTING-UP THE MACHINE

Filling with mineral water
• Open lid (3 Fig. 1; Fig. 2) of water-container and fi ll with mineral water
(2 Fig. 1; Fig. 2) (maximum 1L), then close lid.
ELECTICAL CONNECTION
Before plugging the machine make sure the ON/ OFF switch (9
Fig. 1) is in the "OFF" position.
• Plug-in the machine inserting the plug (8 Fig. 1) in the wall outlet.

RULES

First activation
The fi rst time you use the machine, or when it has not been used for a long
time, the following operations are necessary:
• Remove the water-container (Fig. 3) from the machine, carefully wash with
water and re-set in the machine in its proper place.
• Press the ON/ OFF switch (9 Fig. 1) into "ON", the light (10 Fig. 1) will go on.
• Press the switch (12 Fig. 1) and wait for water to fl ow through the coff ee/
water dispensing wand.
This operation is necessary to ensure the fi lling of the boiler.
