6. INITIAL USE

Remove the hearing amplifiers from the packaging and check that the
devices and all accessories are included and not damaged.
Choosing the right earplugs
C hoose an appropriately sized earplug and position it on the speaker.
1. The earplug should sit loosely and comfortably in your ear. Try dif-
ferent earplugs until you find the ones that are most comfortable for
you.
2. If the device makes a whistling sound, make sure that the earplug
is sitting correctly in your ear. If necessary, use a different earplug.
If the volume is too low even at a higher volume setting, the battery
may need to be charged. See below for charging instructions.
