NOTE: All service to the engine must be performed by
an authorized HONDA dealer,
Removal
1. Relieve pressure, page 7.
2. Do Fan Belt, Removal; page 13.
3. Loosen hand nut (241). Swing bracket (30) out.
4. F . 4. Disconnect red and black leads from engine.

5. Remove engine and rocker plate (87c) from sprayer.

6. Remove four screws (189), washers (114), washers
(170) and nuts (118) and remove rocker plate,
dampeners (59) and washers (114) from engine.
Installation
1. Install rocker plate (87c), dampeners (59) and wash-
ers (170), washers (114) on engine (185) with four
screws (189), washers (170) and nuts (118); torque
to 20 ft-lb (27.1 N•m).
2. Install engine and rocker plate (87c) on sprayer.
3. Connect red and black leads.
4. Do Fan Belt, Installation; page 13.
5. Swing motor retainer bracket (30) in. Tighten hand
nut (241).
