REQUIREMENTS FOR TABLE/HOUSING DESIGNED FOR THE AQF OUTDOOR GAS
BURNERS SERIES.
The instructions for safe appliance installation included in this manual must be strictly observed. It is
the user's responsibility to make sure that the user or any other person designated by user, such as in-
staller / fitter will install the appliance at a distance from flammable materials and in the well- insulated
/ table / worktop material that is made of non-combustible materials as per the diagram below. (Fig.2)
DEFFINITIONS:
TABLE / COUNTERTOP - A form of furniture or décor of terrace / garden, made with a hole in the
worktop in which table burner is installed, with an open space under the worktop, without any walls
above the burner level.
HOUSING - A form of the housing with a hole in a worktop of its housing, in which table burner is
installed with an open or well ventilated spaced under the worktop (see the minimum ventilation
cuttings stated on page 15 of this manual) and with at least one wall above the burner level.
ATTENTION!
Each bodywork should provide the user with easy access to the control valve knob!
In all constructions, which have any of the walls led above the burner level, each surface located
at the level of the burner and above this burner should be treated as working surfaces whose
touching is dangerous and during the operation of the device and after extinguishing it until it
cools down can be hot and therefore it should not be touched!
The time it takes to cool down the device is approximately 15 minutes.
The AQF outdoor gas burner must be installed in a table, countertop or housing capable of meeting
the specific safety requirements that are described below or in the housing that can be bought from
manufacturer.
1. Table, countertop or housing must be able to bear the weight of the burners as follows:
AQF 01 - 7,0 kg
AQF 02 - 8,5 kg
AQF 03 - 10,5 kg
AQF 04 - 10,5 kg
AQF 05 - 13,0 kg
AQF 06 - 12,5 kg
AQF 07 - 16,0 kg
2. Table, countertop or housing must be made of a noncombustible materials only or must have
a non-combustible pocket cut or made to size as per drawings on pages 5-8 ensuring mini-
mum of 100 mm of noncombustible insulation from the outer edge of the gas burner frame
edges, and minimum distances from a combustible materials as per the figures 2 and 3.
3. Table, countertop or housing must guarantee safety against overturning/tilting during instal-
lation on a surface with a slope of up to 10 degrees. To prevent such situation the housing/
table/countertop should have a flat base in size of minimum width and depth and height not
higher than stated in the table below. If this condition cannot be guaranteed, the table, coun-
tertop or housing should be bolted to the ground or other structural element, ensuring that
all other conditions of safe installation are met, including a minimum space free of combusti-
ble materials
