Mount thermostat & outdoor sensor
3/16" holes for drywall
7/32" holes for plaster
Wall anchor
Detach wallplate
Outdoor sensor (optional)
To check location before mounting: Restore
thermostat Home screen, then hold the sensor
where you intend to install it and press the
CONNECT
button. If sensor is working properly,
thermostat will switch to display outdoor
temperature and humidity.

Wallplate
Mount the sensor on
a vertical exterior wall,
at least 6 inches below
any overhang. Choose a
location protected from
direct sunlight.
Place sensor securely
in bracket, facing
