(terminal 3) by means of the key-switch
can be disabled. This means that turning
the key-switch to the left only resets the
alarm.
„Locking" mode
The locking element is energized by the
"Locking" function (terminal 4) which is
controlled by the door terminal key switch.
The door is then securely locked. The red
LED at the door terminal 1337-.. lights up
(indicating locked status). The door check-
back contacts and locking element are
monitored.
Control input: „Locking"
(Terminals 4 and 39/TTL level against
GND).
The „locking" control input performs three
functions, i.e.
System unlocked:
If the door is closed and no alarm condition
is present, an O-signal at the input terminal
initiates locking. Any time controlled
continuous release status which may be
effective through a timer, etc. will be
terminated.
System locked:
An O-signal at the input terminal initiates
a temporary release phase (see de-
scription under "Temporary release"). If a
continuous signal is present, however, the
release period will not be re-triggered.
System in temporary release phase:
An O-signal at the input terminal ter-
minates the temporary release phase and
initiates locking.
„Temporary release" mode
The "temporary release" mode is activated
via the „temporary release" (terminal 28)
or "locking" control inputs when the system
is in locked condition. Whenever and for
as long as the "temporary release" control
input is active, the release period will be
re-triggered (not applicable to "locking"
control input).
The release time can be set at between
11 and 176 seconds by means of selector
switch S1. The temporary release facility
can be switched off by means of dipswitch
S 4.2 as a dual function of the "Lock"
control input (terminal 4).
The temporary release condition is
indicated by the flashing green LEDs
(terminals 7 and 35) at an on/off ratio of
approx. 10/1.
If, with the door closed, the "locking" control
input is activated during the temporary
release period, the system goes into the
"locking" mode and the locking element is
energized.
If the door is opened and reclosed during
the temporary release period, the door is
automatically locked again. The locking
element is energized and the system goes
into the "locking" mode.
When the release period has expired and
the door check-back contact signals "door
closed", the locking element is energized
and the system goes into the "locking"
mode. If the door is still open on the expiry
of the release period and the door
monitoring function S 4.1 is activated, an
advance warning is triggered.
The system goes into the "advance
warning" mode. If the door monitoring
function S 4.1 is not activated, the locking
capability is maintained. The door contact
is continuously scanned. When the "door
closed" signal is identified, the locking
element is energized and the system goes
into the "locking" mode.
Control input: „Temporary release
by switch"
(Terminal 28/TTL level against GND)
An O-signal at the input terminal initiates
temporary release. The preset release
period input via selector switch S1 will
continue to be re-triggered so long as the
signal is present or when it is identified
anew (see description under "Temporary
release").
„Time-controlled continuous release"
mode
In the „time-controlled continuous release"
mode (by timer, etc.), the door is unlocked.
The "continuous release" control input is
continuously scanned. So long as the
"continuous release" signal is present, the
door will remain unlocked.
If the "Lock" control signal is identified with
the door contact closed, the continuous
