system for the fire detector loop is
activated. Scanning of the evaluating
signal is delayed by approximately seven
seconds until all the detectors are ope-
rative.
The switching statuses of the control inputs
when powered up initiate various functions,
i.e. Control inputs:
Central emergency unlocking
operated
Emergency-opening button operated
Sabotage contact activated
Central release activated
Fire signaled by external fire alarm system,
i.e. Alarm condition present,
system switches to Unlocking with
alarm mode.
Control inputs:
– Unlocking activated,
i.e. Unlocking condition present,
system switches to Continuously
unlocked mode.
Control inputs:
– Temporary release activated,
i.e. System switches to Temporary
release mode.
Control inputs:
– Continuous release activated,
i.e. System switches to Continuous
release mode.
If none of the control inputs listed above is
active and the door is closed, the locking
of the system is initiated and the locking
element energized. If the door is open,
however, and the „With door monitoring"
function has been selected (S 4.1 = ON),
the advance warning mode is activated.
If door monitoring has not been activated,
no warning will be given. The door locking
capability is maintained.
„Continuously unlocked" mode
When the „continuously unlocked" mode
is activated by way of the door terminal
key-switch, the locking element is not
energized and the door can be opened at
any time. The green LED in the door
terminal 1337-.. remains lit as a continuous
24
indicator (display signifying system
unlocked and capable of being locked).
If the „continuously unlocked" mode comes
into effect after an alarm signal has been
acknowledged, the system can only be re-
locked when the condition which triggered
the alarm is no longer present. The
existence of an alarm condition is indicated
by the flashing green LED in the door
terminal (display signifying unlocked and
subject to interference).
Possible alarm conditions:
– Emergency-Opening switch operated
– Sabotage contact tripped
– Central release activated
– External fire alarm loop tripped
– Central emergency unlocking activated
– Absence of locking status check-back
-
signal (possible line break).
– Internal fire detector loop tripped
In the „continuously unlocked" mode, an
already acknowledged alarm will no longer
give a new warning if it is reactivated. Only
the green LED will flash again. With the
transfer to another mode (locking, con-
tinuous release), the alarm marker is reset
and a warning will be given on reactivation.
Control input
„Continuously unlocked/Unlock"
(Terminal 40/TTL level against GND)
Control input for unlocking from the central
control panel or an additional control unit.
If the system is locked, an O-signal at the
input terminal initiates continuous un-
locking. Energization of the locking
element is discontinued. The „unlocked"
status is maintained until re-locking is
established (see description under „Con-
tinuously unlocked").
An activated alarm cannot be reset via this
control input. In the „locking with alarm"
mode, unlocking is initiated and the system
goes into the „Unlocked with alarm" mode.
The tripping function for the acoustic alarm
transmitter remains unaffected.
– By the removal of jumper J1 (in the
control unit), the facility for establishing
continuous unlocking at the door terminal
