The switching brightness or cut-out delay can be set
on the back of the unit. To facilitate adjustment work
an adapter has been supplied with the UP watchdog
that is plugged between in UP coupler (Fig. 1, Item 8)
and the connector strip (Fig. 1, Item 3). This adapter
can be plugged in or removed while the system is live
(operating voltage on).
Narrowing the Coverage Zone
The UP watchdogs have a coverage area of 180°. This
zone can be narrowed with the help of adhesive tape
included in the supply (eg. to limit the light incidence
area). Suitably cut this tape to size and stick it onto the
outside of the lens cover in the area you wish to
exclude.
